Product Details
The Trephine Basic Kit provides a small set of high-quality, closely grouped trephine drills. These tools are designed specifically for creating cylindrical bone grafts quickly and accurately and for removing defined bone sections. These trephine drills have a depth of 10 mm and have been developed specifically with mandibular surgery and implantology in mind. Thanks to the well defined laser depth marks at 2 mm intervals, the medical practitioner can accurately monitor the depth of drilling as he or she works.
The Punch Basic Kit contains mucous membrane punches with five different diameters for application within the scope of immediate implants, for taking mucosa grafts as well as uncovering the gingiva after implantation. A high level of bone contact should be avoided and a rotation speed of 200 min-1 should not be exceeded, whilst ensuring a sufficient level of cooling.
The electropolishing will give it a nice clean and bright finish. The laser marks add functionality for doctors by adding depth markers so they know how far a guide wire has gone in. The process for Modern Grinding to make a K-Wire is to first take a raw piece of stainless steel wire with the clients designated diameter. Next we grind a trocar tip (and threads if desired). We will then cut the second end to length and soft grind this end so that there are no burrs or hard edges. Next we electropolish, then laser mark, then passivate per ASTM A967 and send out to our happy clients.
